Corona
Corona is a worldwide organization which welcomes members of any nationality who are English speaking. They are a small informal group and their gatherings are intimate and friendly. They meet at least once a month for lunch, and in-between times they make craft items and jams, and hold fundraising BBQs. Russian speaking group
The group provides friendship, and social contact, and support for women from Russia and Russian-speaking women from eastern Europe and central Asia, although all women with an interest in Slavic culture are welcomed. Large social events are organized to commemorate the Russian holiday calender, while smaller gathering are held on a regular basis. Several subgroups are active, including a mothers’ group(for mothers with children 0-4 years old), and a dance group. Particular attention is given to developing and maintaining a warm, friendly, and helpful atmosphere at all occasions.
